“Alyssa has a directness, warmth and integrity in how she engages the teenagers that I found impressive and refreshing—it speaks volumes about her personal power, compassion and wisdom. Her genuine interest in teens made me feel immediate trust to let my daughter participate in the program with my full support"...

Medicine Horse Ranch needs your support to extend our Horse Sense for Teens-at-Risk™ Equine Guided Learning Programs. We are very excited to welcome groups from the Novato Youth Center and Circle of Sisters (violence prevention program)

How You Can Help: In 2011, with your generous support, we will expand our offerings for teens at risk. We have an annual operating budget of $75,000 that covers expenses of our horses, staffing, (including a licensed therapist) and program supplies. Monthly pledges as well as one-time donations are especially needed.

Our sponsors will receive a thank-you listing on this site and special recognition at our annual fundraisers, a tour of the ranch, as well as other sponsor benefits.

Thank you in advance for your generosity, and the difference it makes in the life of our program horses and our teens.

We welcome donations of any amount.

“What an amazing day! My EGL experience was profound. The horses are gifted and inspiring teachers, the metaphors were clear and they offered instant and non-judgmental feedback. This opened my heart, relaxed my body and quieted my mind. I want my clients to experience this as well.”
